The sonic crystalization of the artist development process.

New Sheriff artists cross a variety of markets and genres. They are active in domestic and international pop/rock, "break-beat", hip-hop, Americana, contemporary country, and bluegrass. They appear on major labels as well as indies.

The last four acts develped by chief creative officer, John Van Meter were all signed to major label deals. Two were signed to RCA/BMG, one was signed to Warner Brothers, and the last was signed to Island Def Jam/Universal.

The most recent project to be completed was the colaboration of Boston-based rock band, "T", and New Sheriff producer, Tim Lauer. (check out "Plan A" in the listening area !)

Other projects currently underway include Jamie Hartford's new all-acoustic set featuring songs by his late father, John Hartford.
New Sheriff's chief creative officer, John Van Meter is producing the record, expected in early 2005.
